The Eileen Geduld Zaglin Scholarship Fund provides scholarship assistance to graduating high school seniors who have shown exceptional promise in the arts, including literature, fine arts, music, and the performance, or in a specific academic field. Candidates must demonstrate good character, an interest in serving the community, and a strong academic record. Applicants MUST have graduated from a District 21 elementary and/or middle school. Preference will be given to applicants who have graduated from PS 225, the Eileen E. Zaglin School where Ms. Zaglin was a teacher. Scholarships, based on a combination of merit and need, are awarded once a year and average $2500. The scholarships supplement post-secondary education to further the development of the recipient's talent. |
